PETER RIEGERT | AGE 73
American actor and director Peter Riegert rose in popularity after playing the role of Schoenstein in Animal House. Working alongside producer Ericka Frederick, Riegert directed the short film By Courier, for which he got the nomination for the Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film. Some of her other famous roles were in films such as The Mask, American Pastoral, and more.
Riegert was the narrator of Michael Chabon’s The Yiddish Policemen’s Union audiobook and has done some other notable voice work. He is married to Cornelia Read, who is a crime novelist by profession. Before acting, Riegert was into teaching and social work.
