BARBARA KNOX | 87 YEARS
Barbara Knox was born in 1933, in Lancashire, UK. She is a notable British actress and famous for her role as newsagent Rita Sullivan in the television soap opera Coronation Street. Knox is the second-largest serving cast member after William Roache. She has served the British Television for more than 50 years.
During her career, she was honoured with prestigious awards including TV Time Award For Best Actress in 1989. Apart from that she also won Oracle Teletext Award For Best Actress in 1990 and National Television Award For Best Serial Drama Performance in 2018. Knox has been married twice, and from her first husband, she had three children.
