GERALDINE JAMES – AGE 70 YEARS
Film and television actress Geraldine James graduated from Drama Centre London and started her career by practicing repertory theatre. For her role in the movies, including The Jewel in The Crown, Band of Gold, and The Sins, she earned BAFTA nomination four times. In 1989, she played a role in the Broadway revival of The Merchant of Venice. One of the greatest classical actresses, Geraldine’s other prominent roles include Bloody Kids Gandhi, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, Alice Through the Looking Glass, and others. 70-year-old James was given the position of an Officer of the Order of the British Empire in 2003.
