Nichelle Nichols is an actress, singer, and voice artist. She is best known for her work in Star Trek: The Original Series and film series. Nichols also gave some time to promote NASA’s program from 1977 to 2015 and recruit diverse astronauts. As a singer, she released two albums, Down to Earth in 1967 and Out Of This World in 1991.
Besides that, Nichols also sang songs in Star Trek episodes. As impressive as her career was, Nichols’s personal life was good too. She was married twice, but both marriages didn’t work out well and ended in divorce. Nichols had one son from her first marriage.
