The Welsh singer Shirley Bassey is quite popular for her expressive voice. Her career began in 1953, which later took flight only when she recorded the soundtrack for films like Goldfinger and Moonraker. In 1959, she created history by becoming the first Welsh artist to gain a No.1 single.
Bassey has been married twice. Her first marriage was with Kenneth Hume, which lasted for just a couple of years. After her divorce, Bassey began an affair with actor Peter Finch while he was still married to actress Yolande Turner. Her second marriage was with Sergio Noval, which took place in 1968. However, the couple got divorced in 1979.
