Jane Asher is a poet, actress, and entrepreneur from London who rose to fame as a child actress and since then has worked in many films and television. Her performances were noticed in the Deep End, Alfie, and The Mask of the Red Death.
Apart from her acting career, Jane is also an owner of two companies; one specializes in special occasions cakes, while the other sells kitchenware. Besides, Jane is also an author of three best-selling books, and more than a dozen cookbooks and lifestyle books are under her belt. Asher married Gerald Scarfe, who is an illustrator, in 1981, and the couple has three children together.
