JOY HARMON, 80 (MARRIED FOR 33 YEARS)
The ever so gorgeous Joy Harmon is better known for her role as Merrie (Village of the Giants) and Lucille (Cool Hand Luke). She was born in Flushing, New York, but she, along with her family, moved to Connecticut in 1946. Harmon later won the title of Miss Connecticut and appeared in various shows and television programs.
In 1968, Harmon married film editor Jeff Gourson for thirty-three years. Even though she became a popular name, Harmon refused to chase fame and eventually left acting to raise her three kids. Nowadays, she is running a family business – Aunt Joy’s Cakes in California.
