SUE THOMPSON, 95 (MARRIED FOR 10 YEARS)

Sue Thompson is an American pop and country music singer best known for the million-selling pop hits Sad Movies and Norman. She was born in 1925 in Missouri. Another one of her popular songs was released in 1965 titled Paper Tiger, which further contributed to her successful music career.

At the age of seven began to show interest in music. Her family then moved out to San Jose, where she got the opportunity to appear on the Hometown Hayride TV program. She married her third husband, Hank Penny, in 1953. The couple has a son together; however, they decided to part ways after a decade-long marriage.
